In the mid 1980s, a 100 year old Deluxe Candy Company building with a vacant neighboring land site was acquired. Urban Innovations embarked upon a new construction infill project to merge the new with the old. The four-story new construction, remaining true to the historic character and architecture of the neighborhood, was adjoined to the existing loft property to create what is known today as 445 N Wells.
